Personal Message:
I am on an incredible life journey. I've been privileged to choose various experiences but have not always appreciated my freedom of choice. At the age of 50 (a few years back) I made the choice to challenge myself physically. I learnt to swim more than two laps of a pool, got on a bike and started running. I pushed myself to take part in various events: open water swim races, obstacle course races and triathlons, which remains my passion. At the time of making the choice it was about me. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to make what can be seen as a simple life choice. There are people who make difficult decisions several times a day simply around their day-to-day survival. Not only theirs but also that of their family, and especially their children... children who are yet to know of a better future, yet to start dreaming of a better future, yet to start realising those dream. Dreams of a meal in the morning; dreams of stepping into their own pair of shoes; dreams of learning; dreams that tomorrow will be better than today. Help us help them.
