My name is Dr Connor Mercer, and I am a medical doctor currently specialising in Sports and Exercise Medicine, as well as an avid endurance athlete and triathlete. I am racing the 2026 ISUZU IRONMAN 70.3 Mossel Bay in support of Ironman 4 the Kidz — a foundation dedicated to creating hope, opportunity, and support for vulnerable children across South Africa. As both a doctor and athlete, I understand the importance of opportunity, guidance, and support in shaping a person’s future. Through this journey, I hope to use the platform of sport to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need it most. Every swim stroke, pedal revolution, and step on race day represents something greater than the finish line.
