Personal Message:
There’s a saying that goes along the lines of this “Warriors are not what you think of as warriors. The warrior is not someone who fights, because no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless , those who can not provide for themselves, and above all, the Children, the future of humanity.” For years now I have wandered aimlessly trying to find meaning and purpose in this crazy world of our. Of late I am of the opinion that there can be no greater calling and purpose than to help others that cannot help themselves. In preparation for the world champs , over the next 5months, hours upon countless hours willingly putting myself through pain and suffering, fighting my own demons. This is my choice. As a father of 3 young children , I can stay silent no longer, while a different ,far more devastating pain and suffering is imposed upon the innocent. So I call on anyone out there with the means and ability to donate, no matter how big or how small to the Ironman for kids foundation. With the funds raised going to Bobbie’s Bears , a home for sexually abused children, in my home town of Kzn. So Rise up with me. Rise Again with me. The Strong protect the weak. The Lion and the lamb. It is here we make our Stand.
